About Us

Shape-A-Cake products began with the realization that cake baking is limited by the variety of pans owned by the baker.  We set out to find products that allow the home chef to express themselves creatively.  We wanted our products to make it fun to bake a perfect cake and to bring friends and families together to help with the process.

We also believed that cake decorating had not reached its full potential.  Frosting and icings limit the chef's creativity to two dimensional decorations while the use of fondant is a challenge and typically reserved for the seasoned professional.  We developed our Shape-A-Cake Decorating Clay as an easy-to-use alternative that anyone can use and enjoy.  We envision that anyone from children to pastry chefs will enjoy sculpting the clay and will be pleased to see their masterpieces displayed on desserts.

So we set forth in our small kitchen and tested numerous recipes to come up with the product now available.  Each product is designed to fill a void in the baking industry that we felt need to be addressed.  We are excited about the growth potential of this company and look forward to redefining how America bakes.  Shape-A-Cake products are fun and simple to use.  It is our belief that children, amateur chefs and professional chefs alike will enjoy using these products and will be impressed with the resulting cakes.
